Pros: dependability; rugged good looks Cons: getting expensive; cramped interior; strange clutch; wacky tacky bling bling console The Bottom Line: The 2008 Toyota Tacoma is probably as dependable as ever, but this year's model failed to win me over.

Pros: Good gas mileage, comfort, utility, price. Cons: Limited towing and hauling capabilities. The Bottom Line: This is a great little pickup for carrying large, not-too-heavy objects, yet still have the gas mileage and convenience of a car. I highly recommend it.
