Pros: Security risk is low, junk mail pile low... Cons: Sharp blades
I have this little habit of throwing my junk mail in with my personal mail when opening it up in the car or bringing it in the house...who has time to sort through all of that? I have been guilty of either having papers that are garbage mixed in, or ...

Pros: FAR better than most shredders in same price range. Cons: I can find none.
I didn't really NEED a shredder. I thought the whole "identity theft" thing was way overblown. But, I WANTED one. Originally I bought, upon impulse, a Royal 1280 MX. (Review of same posted here.) That non-working piece of junk was returned. ...

Pros: Shreds credit card, staples easily, sleek design and easily liftable top, good performance. Cons: So far found none!
Bought as family gift for Christmas. My old line shredder was getting heated within cutting 20 papers and paper always got stuck. So got a new, sleek one. This light confetti cut shredder cuts all the unwanted credit card applications in a jiffy. There ...

Piece of Junk
by bosco623 ,Jan 07 '08
Pros: Non Cons: Jams
I've been picking pieces of jammed paper out of the shredder with a tweezer for the last three days hoping to get this thing working again. I'm thinking it's hopeless.
I've been careful not to exceed the shredder's sheet limit so as to avoid jams. It didn't seem to matter. It still jammed. The shredder is less than 4 months old, but because I didn't save the box or the receipt I can't return it, nor prove that it is under warranty.

Great Performance!
by webgarv ,Aug 10 '07
Pros: Produces moderate, Security 2 confetti. Shreds credit cards and staples. Cons: Is cumbersome, lacks a handle to easily move it from one place to another.
This is my very first paper shredder and for the price I paid ($44.99) it's a terrific deal. It shreds cross-cut to produce grade 2 security confetti, a level of security which exceeds my needs. Machine stops when fingers touch the feeder--an awesome safety feature. The 'reverse' function unjams stuff beautifully. I welcome the noise since it gives me good feedback on the operation of the machine, which I oil regularly as recommended to keep it in great shape. This excellent machine did shred a thick 8 sheets of paper as claimed by the manufacturer (albeit with effort), so I give it a nice 4-star.

F***ing piece of junk
by mrduck ,Sep 09 '08
Pros: Not much to add. Cons: Easy to jam. Gets worse after every shred.
The shredder is totally useless after six months. I have NOT even been putting in multiple sheets of paper, it's been permanently slow in shredding, easy to jam, getting progressively worse. Now I can only shred five pieces of paper in total before the jam/overheat sensors kill the power to the shredder.
