Navigating in 3D by voodoslnkr Pros: Screen size, 3D navigation, big keyboard
Cons: Lag time, poorly arranged menus On a recent drive with a friend I had the opportunity to test out his new Navigon 2100 Max. This navigation system is the big brother of the Navigon 2100 and has more than enough extras to make it the better choice of the two. It has a great look, got ...

In This Case, A Step Down Was Really a Step UP by asocalfamily Pros: sleek design, intuitive features, and great POI this time.
Cons: Lousy customer service, and a difficult to use windshield mount. I've previously owned several car GPS systems, including my last one the TomTom 720 ( please read that review for details). I bought this one because I accidentally broke the 720 by cracking the LCD screen. This particular journey started out by ...

Cons: Annual updates are pricey! I purchased this GPS to replace a dying Quest 2 unit. The Quest 2 took me to the wrong place, got me lost and locked up...not good! I have owned this unit for a year now, taking it on several thousands of miles across the United States...and ...

Good for Highways, but lousy UI by koblenz Pros: Highway lanes clearly marked, traffic updates
Cons: Cumbersome user interface My wife wanted a GPS unit for her car; I have a Subaru and my GPS was built in. I went to Radio Shack and looked at various units, but didn't try any of them. This one seemed to have lots of features for less than what other units at the same price ...

Good value for money by dongeeL Pros: Fairly accurate voice directions at least on major arteries.
Cons: Awkward auto zooming, unfriendly user interface in relative terms, inconsistencies in operation process. Instead of buying an updated map for my aged Garmin at $100 plus, I figured it was a better decision to just to buy a new GPS unit which can be used for our new car as a dedicated unit. I liked my Garmin, but decided to try a Tom-Tom One because (1) it ...
