This is it!!!!
by scottc74 ,Jun 11 '08
Pros: Simply, I cannot say enough.
Cons: battery life is only 1.5 weeks.
I am a Consumer Reports guy. The first thing I do when planning to buy something is read CR and do all the research I can. CR rated this as the best electric shaver and once again they did not fail me. This has been the closest and best shave I have EVER had. If you plan to buy a shaver this is the one you should get. I paid $50 and it was well worth it. It gives a better shave than the razors more or less expensive. I decided to stop using a blade which I did not think was possible. I used the electric on the weekends and then the blade on the weekdays. I was wrong this electric razor does an outstanding job.

Update!

I have had this shaver for 2 weeks and it is still great! I have to recharge it about every 1.5 weeks but, I’ll trade that for the closest shave ever with an electric razor. I have heard some people to get a good shave with an electric you must use “lectric shave” but, I could not imagine getting any better of a shave than I do now.

Great Shave, Poor Quality
by riverdog1957 ,Jul 07 '08
Pros: Gives a closer shave than more expensive competitors
Cons: Suspect build quality.
I bought this product based on the Consumer Reports Best Buy Designation. It does deliver a closer shave than some of its more expensive competitors, However, my experience with it indicates poor build quality. The red low battery charge indicator light comes on after only 3 shaves and this seems to be one of the issues a lot of people are having with the MS2-390. Other reviewers have noted problems with the foil breaking down and causing nicks and skin irritation. It's a shame that Remington quality control doesn't seem to be as good as it once was.
