Pros: A surprisingly solid translation to PSP Cons: Some corners had to be cut
Seeing that SOCOM is Sony's biggest (and basically only) worthwhile online-centric PS2 franchise, it was inevitable that Zipper's popular game would eventually deploy on the PSP – though unlike the original SOCOM game, there's not the same pressure to ...

Pros: Fun single-player; Great for a portable; Best portable multiplayer; SOCOM feel is intact; Huge areas Cons: Sound and Graphics are underwhelming; Loss of some SOCOM elements

SOCOM Deploys to conquer your PSP
by sgtkilloch ,May 30 '06
Pros: Good Maps, Graphcs are not bad , good weapon list , mutipalyer is fantastic. Cons: Will consume your life
SOCOM on the PSP ? surly it cant have carried over the action , storyline and tension. yes it can , and it did . FTB is an amazing move from PS2 to PSP. aside from some minor AI glitches , common in many games , it is fantastic. the missions tie in with SOCOM 3's storyline perfectly, unlocking new weapons and making missions easier .
The online is simply the best on the PSP despite an inherent flaw in the headset design. fast pased action and a large veriety of maps and games give the game an almost endless replayability.
As for the single player , even once the campagin is done there are as many as 70 instant action missions for each difficulty ( Ensign , Commander , Admiral ) . the capmaign storyline is good, each of the four locations ( chile , morocco , asia and poland ) has its own distinct and well told story that evolves depending on your progress in both FTB and SOCOM 3 on the ps2 .
final word : no time for a final word , im busy playing it.
