Have had this printer since March 2007. Printer works great. Very fast printing. Great text quality. Reasonable noise level when printing. Very fast warm up time for first page that you print after start up of printer. My only complaint is Samsung's rebate process. I submitted the rebate forms and all supporting documents to Samsung on March 29, 2007. I have called Samsung multiple times regarding the rebate and they acknowledge that I submitted all required forms and documents for the rebate. The rebate was supposed to have been sent out in 8 weeks. It has now been 14 weeks and they still have not sent my rebate. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. CAN'T RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT BECAUSE OF POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SUPPORT.

We have been using this printer for almost a year and have been very pleased with it generally. It is very fast and produced excellent print quality.

I does have a couple of cons though. The only button on the console is required for double sided printing. After printing one side you rotate the paper, reinsert it and then hit the button. The button though is poorly designed and doesn't work unless you put a lot of pressure on it. Ours only worked intermittantly and now gets stuck under the plastic casing and then the printer cannot be used. After much effort we can usually get it back up. I called Samsung and they sent us a refurbished printer but it was not able to feed paper 80% of the time.
I also have the noticed that the power drawn by the printer is so large that it dims the lights when printing and when starting fuser is kept warm for the next five minutes after printing. This is not cause any problem per ce but is a little disconcerting.

We have had this printer in the office for about 2 weeks and it is working fine. We print about 20-30 sheets per day so we are very low volume. Print quality is excellent. Speed for this price point - $69 after rebate -is vastly superior to our ink jet.

Set-up was very quick and easy. We use Windows XP.

I have 2 ink jet printers and finally decided to buy a laser printer to cut down on my text printing costs. I have basic home printing needs. This printer comes at a great price and the toner cartridges are available at about $35 each for 2000 pages.
Setup for the printer on my iMac was a breeze. While the instructions aren't the greatest, it's just plug in, slip in the enclosed disk and toner cartridge and you are on your way. The footprint is small and fits into the corner quite nicely. It is a nuisance that they don't provide a printer cable, but you can buy one on the web for $12 including shipping.
I have been very pleased with print quality printing text on basic copy paper and heavier stationary, but I have not tried to print envelopes. This is a great printer for those with modest printer needs.
The cartridge that comes with the printer doesn't last long, so plan to buy a replacement soon after installation.

Pros: Fast and inexpensive. Clean print.

It does what it's supposed to do and that print. It's fast and reliable. Give it about 10 seconds to print first and after that it basically spits it out. One draw back- the printing of envelopes doesn't always print totally aligned.
