Pros: Luxurious interior, Good handling. Cons: 4-cylinder engine, Plain exterior, Expensive options. The Bottom Line: With Bland styling, almost below adequate power for a 3,000lb vehicle designed to haul around 5 adults, and V6-V8 fuel economy, I'd Pass on the 2002 Accord LX.
For many years, since 1977, the Honda Accord sedan has been sort of an 'upscale' Honda Civic. The Accord offered comfort, great gas mileage, reliability, and was very affordable. With that said, the Honda Accord attracted a huge fan base, so large...

Pros: Solid car, nice fit/finish, ergonomic controls, great resale value Cons: Ho-Hum styling, weak engine, thin paint, poor warranty The Bottom Line: The Accord has always been well-built, reliable, and has always kept its resale value. The tradition continues...
If you look up the word 'unique' in the dictionary, you won't find it anywhere close to the Honda Accord. You won’t find it next to Toyota Camry, either. These two cars are probably, by far, the most popular models in its class. Both are known for...

Pros: Reliability, nice looks, Cons: Not a single major one, so far (knock on wood) The Bottom Line: A great, fun to drive, reliable car. Honda's reputation is top of the line, and my Accord experience to date has been no exception.

Pros: Bumper to bumper - a quality car. Handles well. Theft deterrent system. Cons: The coupe model looks better. Not exactly the fanciest interior. Adequate acceleration. The Bottom Line: Quality workmanship and resale value mean you will be just as happy with your car when it's three years old as when you brought it home the first time.
Accord or Camary or ??? 4 cylinder or V6? Which one should you buy? There are so many nice cars out there, it's hard to tell which one is the best buy. And with cars costing so much, no one wants to find out a year down the road that they shoulda,...

Pros: Reliable, great handling, attractive interior/exterior Cons: climate control, tilt wheel (I don't know why Honda bothers!) The Bottom Line: A great family car, very fun to drive and comfortable.
After a nightmarish year and a half we decided to get rid of our Ford Explorer Sport Trac and go back to Honda--this is Honda number 4 for me. Previously my Honda's have all been Civic's, but there has been this nagging yearning all this time for an...

Pros: Excellent build quality and materials, refined powertrain, nearly ergonomically perfect, legendary Honda quality Cons: Underpowered engine, bland styling, undersized wheels and tires, couple of interior buzzes The Bottom Line: Though not an exciting car by any means, the Accord VP provides excellent fuel economy, ample room, and better-than-average reliability and resale value at a reasonable price.
The Details:
The car Im reviewing today is the 2002 Honda Accord VP Sedan. The VP stands for Value Package, and was available only for the 2002 model year. A variant of the Accord DX Sedan, the VP added appearance,...

Pros: Stylish, Powerful & Reliable Coupe Cons: Some Quality Concerns, Could use some more Power The Bottom Line: I would definitely recommend the Accord, or any Honda for that matter. I am aware that there are thousands of satisfied Honda customers to 1 dissatisfied customer.
Ever since the complete redesign in 1998, I knew I had to have one. The coupe was finally more than just the sedan with two less doors, it had it's own sporty personality. Sporty enough to steal sales away and kill off Honda's long running sports coupe, ...

Pros: Comfortable, Quick, Stylish, GREAT!!! Cons: V6 only comes in Auto The Bottom Line: This is my favorite of all cars I have ever owned or even ridden in. I would recommend it to all!!!
It has driven me nuts that I can't review this car in its own category of Coupe & V6! But anyway, I absolutely love it. I have drooled over it for years since they redesigned it to this body style and have finally graduated from college so I am able to...

Pros: Smooth Ride, Climate Control, 8 Way Adjustable Leather Seats, 6 Disc In-Dash CD, 200+HP Cons: Mileage (It's a V6) Otherwise None!! The Bottom Line: Smooth, Elegant automobile that competes in every area with the far more expensive luxury cars in the higher model classes
**January 2004 Review Update** I love my EX-V6! This car never lets me down and I now get 24mpg in the city and on road trips I top over 39mpg! Sweet huh? I highly recommend this car!** After extensive research I purchased a 2002 Honda Accord EX V6 ...

Pros: Sporty, Fast, Smooth, Comfortable Cons: Small Back Seat The Bottom Line: An extremely well engineered car. It has it all. Why look at anything else?
Exterior
Styling is very sleek and still up to date even though this model has been around for 5 years. Some changes were made in the bumpers and front fascia to modernize the look. If you compare a 2002 model to a 1998 model, you can notice some...

Pros: Responsive & quiet engine, Rock-solid reliability, well-built interior Cons: Uncomfortable seat, conservative styling, no manual transmission The Bottom Line: Honda, as usual, seems to have perfected an award-winning formula for a car, but try a Nissan Altima as well. Who knows what 2003 will bring?
For as long as I can remember, I have driven Japanese imports, mainly Hondas and Toyotas. In fact, since 1983, I have owned 2 Honda Accords (I currently own a 1995), a Honda Odyssey (2000), and a Toyota Camry. Every one except the Odyssey (it's too...

2002 Honda Accord SE sedan "J" (made in Japan) My fiance bought this car 2 1/2 years ago. It's a great car except for me, it's too big. It's not a little economy car, that's for sure. It IS a nice looking car though! I'm a girl, and I really don't ...

Pros: Handling, reliability, transmission... and it's a Honda Cons: Quick, but no sports car The Bottom Line: Worth every penny. It's a blast to drive and, with proper car, will last forever and hold resale value well.
At 18, I bought the 2002 Honda Accord EX used with approximately 36K miles on it. It was Honda Certified, so I had no problem buying it used. I love to drive, so the 5 speed manual transmission was a must. Car also came with a 6 cd changer, power ...
