Details: Unconventional, maybe. Dysfunctional, just a little. Real, absolutely. This middle-class household of four squabbling brothers and their parents--who are just trying to hold on until the last one turns eighteen--is seen through the eyes of Malcolm (Frankie Muniz), a regular kid who is perfectly content skateboarding, hanging out with his friend Stevie (Craig Lamar Traylor), roughhousing with his brothers and avoiding the school bully. Oh, yeah, and the school's counselor (Catherine Lloyd Burns) just discovered he has a genius IQ of 165.
