Snowday Heated Hydration Pack by skssmall Pros: It worked as advertised for a few short months.
Cons: No replacement parts, or support from North Face. I'm assume that I'm the only sucker to purchase North Faces heated hydration pack, as I cant find any reviews let alone information on replacement parts. The Snowday heated hydration pack worked well for a short time. First the Quick Disconnect on the drinking hose broke leaving my back soaking wet on a picture perfect Powder Day. Then after making alterations on my own due to the total lack of support from North Face, I could use the hydration pack with filling and draining difficulties. Next the power supply with fresh batteries installed stopped working. Again I searched for a replacement power supply to no avail. I don’t give up easily, so I disassembled the power supply and found a corroded micro switch. I have been searching for a replacement micro switch, but have had no success. The switch has 3 power pins and 4 mounting pins, if it were a simple on off switch I could modify any switch to work, unfortunately that’s not the case. North Face took me for $150, that wont happen again! |

You will get more exercise by walking from your car to the front door. by cricketpowell Pros: I got a good belly laugh watching my brother try to master the machine.
Cons: Takes up space. Cheap material. Doesn't push your heart rate or offer any strength training. I am so disappointed with this piece of equipment that I cannot even bring myself to write a detailed review of this waste of cheap plastic and metal.

It is a swing for you feet. Nothing more, nothing less. I tried to stay on it for over an hour and didn't break a sweat or raise my heart rate. |

Does it's job by lydia667 Pros: Keeps liquids hot for hours. Good sturdy construction.
Cons: Lid/cup is not insulated and will get hot on the outside when filled. I purchased this for my husband to take to work. The one I bought is all stainless steel but still the same bottle. the Handel is sturdy and it has soft rubber trimming on it along with rubber on the bottom so it doesn't slip. He reports that his coffee stayed hot in it all day.

It also has a twist poor top so that you don't have to remove the whole top to pour coffee which helps retain the heat. He did say though that the screw off cover that doubles as a cup get's as hot as the liquid in it. The cover/cup is plastic lined but aparently NOT insulated. Sleek look sturdy construction Thermos quality but I will knock it down for the cup getting hot on the outside when filled. |

Good Starter Clubs by mikeg2k8 Pros: Great grips and good head size.
Cons: None! For a fairly good price these clubs are pretty good for a golfer starting out. I found the heads of the clubs to be a good size and the grips feel superb in the hand. Once you get better at golf you will need to move up to the more professional clubs but these will not let you down. The Z series is well worth the money! The bag is not too heavy to carry but you may want to get a golf trolley to go with it.

Not the greatest distance from the drivers but with the irons you can get a good contact and quite a lot of control. |

Great for maintaining soccer cleats by yoelc Pros: Great for maintaining leather soccer cleats, still works after years .
Cons: none I've used the Chelsea Leather Food on my Addidas Copa Mundial soccer cleats for years. It has helped keep the leather soft. I would recommend this product for any athletic leather shoe. I do not have an opinion on it for non-athletic shoes.

fun toy! by skinnymon Pros: fun toy, can do lots of tricks, easy to ride.
Cons: none. Bought this for our 10 year old for Christmas! He already had a scooter but wanted to try this one. He loves it! It is easy to ride- just gently rock from left to right. His grandmother even gave it a whirl! You can also do a lot of tricks on it. It spins around easily but doesn't tip over. Really fun toy and worth the money!

Best waterfowl vest you can buy! by srobbins4 Pros: Material, quality, capacity for ammo and game, easily fit over waders
Cons: None! I have hunted with my McAlister waterfowl vest for 7 years and It only gets better with age. The ammo capacity is the best on the market and the workmanship is top notch. This is one piece of gear that I truely appreciate. Great for waders. I am an avid wayerfowler and hunt two to three days a week durrung the season; This vest goes every time. For a classic look with top quality and usefulness and no gimicks or gadgets, this is by far the best vest available. The Filson vest doesn't compare; It lacks all the Shell loops, and is not cut as well. This is one case where Filson in not the best.

Ben Hogan Apex Irons by geno929 Pros: A quality blade for the better ball striker. Consistant distance and control. Wonderful feel.
Cons: Small sweet spot. Shorter than modern irons. Poor shots are not rewarded. These are the Irons I grew up with. I must say, I still love playing with these irons. Distance and direction are always consistant. Trajectory depends on ball placement and quality of swing. And they feel so wonderful when struck well. But, modern irons offer so many more benefits, that I can't justify using my old blades. I still have quality grips on my Hogans and play them once or twice a year. I'll never sell them!

Nickent 3DX Ironwood - 5W by geno929 Pros: Getting out of difficult lies. Confidence inspiring. Looks great.
Cons: You can't overpower this club! Swing too hard and you get pulls and duffs! I have a Nickent 3DX Ironwood the 5W model with reg. graphite shaft. I love this club. Difficult lies between 175 and 200 yds. are now within reach. I generally hit a low draw with this club. I use it off the tee quite often also. Do not try to overpower this club. Swing easy and let it do it's job!

Frequent Service Calls by jghouse Pros: Quiet/smooth motor;1-touch speed/ incline controls, stable frame, comfortable deck.
Cons: Various mechanical problems; does not continuously display speed; Unit "shudders" over 7 MPH. I purchased the C2200 in the Spring of 2006. I am a fast walker (average 5 MPH) and put 15 miles a week on the treadmill. I am glad I purchased an extra service plan since I have called for service over 5 times in the past 2.5 years for a variety of issues that have resulted in the following components being replaced: front & rear rollers, idler pulleys, drive belt, and walking belt. I do not think this machine is built to take on a serious walker or runner, but rather a casual user.

Reliable inexpensive pulse monitor by ibarr122 Pros: Inexpensive and easy to read
Cons: Must use with a chest strap I own the Omron 100-c version and it is easy to use and quite reliable. I can't comment on durability since I have only used it for 2 weeks. For the money it is hard to beat. It is a functional watch with a easy to activate pulse display which can be backlit. It comes with an adapter that can easily be attached to a bike handlebar. It does require the use of a chest strap which is easy to put on and reasonably comfortable.

Not recommended by pasekmi Pros: Looks good.
Cons: Belt comes off - won't stay on. Noisy Ordered from Sears. Arrived in a single box (heavy of course). Took me and 1 other person about 2 hours to assemble. Worked great for 30 seconds but then the belt came off. The manual instructed me to open up the unit to tighten the belt if this happens. Did that but it kept coming off.

Bottom line is that this is a toy and not intended for someone who wants a serious work out. Belt can't take it. In fact, there is a design flaw that encourages the belt to come off. |

Good Elliptical, not very good quality by onlinefed Pros: Smooth, quiet, full body workout, easy to use
Cons: Build quality, not very intuitive process of setting the profiles and workouts I've been using treadmill for about 10 years, and decided to buy elliptical as my knees started to hurt. I bought Life Fitness X3 at Omni Fitness over a year ago along with extended warranty (never done that on anything I bought before). Left arm started knocking right away, but was told to wait till it settles. Took four tech visits to fix it. After the last visit the whole unit became very flimsy, the right arm started knocking. Finally got the whole unit replaced. The new one was OK until the control monitor stopped working. Now I am expecting the replacement, and hope it will work. Other than average quality, I love this machine as it gives the complete workout for the whole body, helps burn calories much faster than treadmill, and my knees are OK now.

Better grip but excellent ride by adrianaycaza Pros: It's not hard to get the hang of and learn to ride
both goofy or regular Cons: terrible grip & crappy binding and bearings could be better allowing a smoother ride It brings to life snowboarding and surfing in one ride it has a neat look and moves on two wheels wheel like the ones on in-line skates. It really does give a good work out.

Excellent product! by arizonaml Pros: large, easy-to-read screen
built-in clock shows aerobic minutes Cons: battery does not last long. unable to shut off unit. I have had my Omron pedometer for two years now. It works wonderfully, whether in my pocket or clipped onto my belt. The screen is large and easy to read, it provides you with a count of your aerobic steps and minutes, and it shows calories burned and distance.

I love the fact that it has a clock built in so I can keep track of how long I've been walking. I also like the 7-day tracker so I can keep track of my walking history. |

Where's the Warmth? by coloradotuff Pros: Cushy, washes well. Warm and comfy in a dry climate.
Cons: Did not keep us warm in humid climates. Perhaps this is the wrong sleeping bag for a humid climate. My husband and I used it blanket-style opened up over another sleeping bag on an air bed and were cold in 50-degree weather in January on the Gulf Coast, in a tent and in the back of an SUV. We tried it further inland as the bag closest to us in 35-degree, 70% humidity and still were cold in that hour before dawn.

Oddly enough, we'd bought the bag to supplement blanket-style at 10,000 feet in Colorado in September and were quite comfortable. I'd be interested to hear what others have to say. |
