I guess that I must be missing something...but this laptop does indeed have some real "guts" to it. If you're doing anything short of launching space shuttles in your backyard you should be fine.

Great looking screen, battery seems to hold a pretty good charge, hard drive size big enough for some pretty responsible use, and USB ports 'o plenty. Enough to hook up a mouse, a full sized keyboard, a USB hard drive, and a thumbdrive all at once.

I've read several other reviews of this laptop...and there always seems to be someone that wants to say that it has limitations. I'm here to tell you...that if you want to do some work with digital photography, use business applications like PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, or doing anything with email and Internet surfing...this machine will do it all for you!

Pros: 40 GB, 15inch Widescreen (can view 2 windows at once), CDRW drive, 2.8GHZ
Cons: Graphics capability sufficient for non-gaming use, no wifi, no tv-out or line-in port

I purchased this product from Best Buy when then had a special deal of $699. I would recommend this pc to anyone looking for a good laptop at a reasonable price. I really can't ask for much more. Despite the length of the con section of this review, for this college student who has been using computers for over 10 years--this does the trick and leaves my computer needs satisfied.
