me and my bro play video games about 5 hours a night , we both only use this joystick, under our hevcy usage we get about 3 - 6 months of usability out of a joystick . after that the replacement plan gets a new one when it starts losing acuracy. i would NOT buy this stick with out a replacement plan. however with the plan at a price of 60 $ you have in my opinion the best stick out, guarenteed for 2 years.

software - easily set and configured , and installed

I mainly use this joystick for one game called "X2 The Threat". This games has a lot of options and my joystick is programmed for the functions I use the most. Set-up is easy and it did not cost much. I did not want force feedback! It is responsive and it can be fine tuned based on the game you are playing.
