Okay, let me start off by saying I love going restaurants and I'm very picky about where I eat. I visit Boston about every other weekend and go out to eat. I went to the Brew Moon in Jan. of 2000 and loved it. First of all it's right in the theatre district so if you're going to the Wang it's right down the street. (by Comm. Ave.) First of all, the way the place looks is cool, very modern. Rock music is playing but not loud so you can still have a conversation. The service was great. Very polite and the food came out extremely fast. (almost too fast but we were hungry so it was okay) To begin with they make their own beer, and I recommend the one that's 3rd from darkest - GREAT taste. You also get a basket of rolls with some kind of a special butter. (I wish I asked what the butter was because it was good) My date had one of the specials and I had the jumbolia. Lots of food! So much in fact I left some behind. By the way, I recommend the jumbolia but know that they don't put shrimp in it. I recomend this resaurant to anyone looking for some good beer, good food, and modern casual dining. I'm not sure about the reservations because I happend to go up on a Thursday but you might want to make them anyway. We didn't have to wait at all. Overall it was great place and we'll be back.
