I have had this camera for over a year now. Although it takes great pictures, buyers beware it does have issues with the shutter opening and closing while turning the device on and off. Despite this problem, the camera is very easy to operate, takes high quality pictures, has variable settings for different conditions, can be used underwater with the appropriate case manufactured by canon and has interchangeable after market lenses.
Ease of Operation
The consumer can easily use the camera straight out of the box. The menus are simple in nature and user friendly. The optical zoom is easy to toggle with your index finger and auto adjusts for picture clarity so that your picture is worth a thousand words.
Picture Quality
The 7.0 megapixel Canon PowerShot A570 IS Digital camera has sufficient pixels for all your picture taking needs from portraits to landscapes. Even when enlarging photos, the integrity of the picture remains consistent with the original. Colors are bright and do not run.
Settings
This camera comes with various settings to offset variable conditions. Such settings include: shutter speed priority, aperture priority, manual setting, fast frame recording, night snapshot, night scene, landscape scene, portrait setting and an auto setting for amateurs.
