I decided to take my sweetheart for a special Valentine's Day dinner at the Chart House seafood restaurant. We both love seafood, and I thought it would be very romantic.
We were seated at the farthest table from the window possible, so we were unable to see much of the scenic view that this chain is so well known for. I was prepared for the high price tag, but was expecting the best. I was quite disappointed. The menu selection was very limited (because it was Valentine's Day, how lame) and what we got wasn't all that great. It was about $20 a plate and the food was no better than Red Lobster. In fact I've had BETTER at Red Lobster and for a much better price!
We definitely felt cheated, and my hopes for a special evening were dampened. We sure won't be going back there anytime soon!
