Pros: Very smooth, quiet ride.
Cons: They're down to the tread wear indicators at 28K miles.
The Bottom Line: They're fine tires, but if tire life is a big factor, you might want to avoid them

| cubfanjl's Full Review: Goodyear Eagle GA Passenger/Performance Tire |
My '99 Lexus ES300 came with a set of these as standard equipment. One of the great attributes of the ES is the smooth, quiet ride and of course your tires are a big factor in these areas.
I don't usually drive very hard, but I've never had problems cornering, braking or in the wet. I have no bad things to say from a performance standpoint.
The problem is that I'm at about 28K miles and they're just about dead. The Lexus dealer wouldn't rotate them, explaining that it wouldn't do much good at this point.
I've had Michelins for years on a VW Jetta, Ford T-Bird and Windstar and they've all worn like iron. The ride was pretty fair too.
I'd heard from friends of mine that Eagles are "soft" and don't last long and I'll tell you what; they were right.
