This is a sweet machine
by raymundo51 ,Mar 19 '06
Pros: Classic American Bike Cons: Not as fast as some metric cruisers
This bike has plenty of power to get you down the road as fast as you want to go with power to spare. No, its not as fast as some of the new metric bikes, but I don't feel inadequate because of it. It's a classic design that has been copied by many. Reliability has not been an issue, it runs great.

Don't shy away from this gem!
by FARVE ,Aug 29 '05
Pros: Pure enjoyment for all the senses. Cons: Having to stop for fuel.
Bought my Road King new in '01 and never looked back (no need too)! This machine gives me and the misses EVERYTHING we demand from a bagger. Comfort: Ride all day long without wanting to stop. Plenty of tush and thigh support, (misses even fell asleep on the back on a recent trip)! Reliability: Impeccable. Acceleration: More than adequate with two up and a full load to pass tractor trailers with ease. Storage: Side bags handle most needs, from short day trips to longer, week and beyond excursions (Always rear fender rack to accommodate extra gear). Last but not least, The GAWK factor: The "King" turns heads everywhere, from motorists in an adjoining lane to filling stations to rural streets of America. Young and old alike strike up conversations with us about the machine and its destination. Purchase the "King" only if you want the feeling you have it ALL, right between your legs and to the countless others you WILL come across that wish THEY did!
