Pros: Curb appeal. Superior quality of parts. Excellent handling Cons: Price of bike, parts, and service
This is my 25th motorcycle, but my first Harley, over the last 35 years. I could not be happier with the bike. The biggest suprise was the superior handling. I've never owned a bike that "tracked" so well through a turn. The balance is extraordinary...
Pros: The wide rear tire, fuel-injection, very good ride and handling, beautifully chromed front forks. Cons: The exhaust system.
I've recently purchased a Harley-Davidson Deuce (2002 model) with fuel-injection. I'm very pleased with my purchase of this bike. Although, it wasn't the one I'd planned on buying, I think I made the right choice.
This is a brand new...
I've made the decision to rent motorcycles as a method of determining which one is best for me to purchase. Based on my experiences attending rallies, riding with friends, and the feel of the bikes I've ridden; I am now riding Harley's exclusively.

Pros: Great Looks
Top of the Line quality
very low vibration
Nice Harley sound - loud Cons: Holes on the rear Fender under seat are terrible - what were they thinking?
This bike has it all. It has a great look - lots of standard chrome especially the front-end. It has very low vibration. You can hardly feel the 1450cc engine. The bike is a real head turner. After owning it for a few months, I know I made the...
I have 35000 miles on my 02 FXSTDI, bought new in Dec of 01. The Deuce rides well. I would recommend the following upgrades I have done. Stage II 95" engine upgrade with a different cam than stock. Buy a good aftermarket seat. Switch from the stock Dunlop tires to Metzelers. Some people say this is a short range bike, not a touring unit. I have rode mine to the Grand Canyon, 3950 miles round trip. Also to Yellowstone, 3500 miles round trip. Have done 10 hour days on this bike, with no windshield. Have owned 3 HD's in the past and the Deuce is by far my favorite. Buy one!
Pros: Sweet Looks, Great Motor, Great Basic Bike Cons: Mediocre Ergos, Skinny Tire Tracks Bad
Bike looks pretty cool. Bought one and had to change seat bars and pegs several times until the perfect combination "locked in."
Now it feels like a perfectly balanced "flat tracker" and is a joy to ride all day long without complaint. Except that skinny front tire hunts down ruts in the road. That will get swapped for a wider rim and beefier 21 inch tire this winter.
So basically if you will make yours fit, you wind up with a great looking bike that drives like a dream.
Highly recommended as it is not too far off as it comes from the factory. Great job, Harley.
