Great little bikes
by timbermcp ,Jul 19 '08
Pros: Great value for money, incredibly reliable and so much fun. Cons: Wish they would grow bigger with the kids
I work at a camp that runs 40 bikes, 6 of them being PW80's of this model. They get ridden by 8 year old kids through to 200lb adults (yeah they get overloaded) and get a hammering. These are our most popular bikes, kids like the look of them, there ease to ride and good handling characteristics and they have enough power to pull the adults along happily.
Over the last few years we have had no trouble with them aside from a little damage due to the hundreds of crashes they go through every year(levers mainly but seldomly) Plastics take a beating, I have gone over backwards pulling wheelies a dozen times and never broke anything on them. Not meant for adults but we are all big kids. (fun to step off my KDX or RM onto them)
