Pros: Great little size, perfect for the music-lover that doesn't have to maintain a huge library. Cons: Not enough storage for multi-videos. Buy a larger capacity iPod if that's your intent.
I have a 60 GB iPod that I love and always have with me. My youngest daughter purchased a 30 GB iPod about half a year ago. I am very impressed with it and if I were going to purchase an iPod, that would be the one I would choose, even over the 60Gb that ...
I am old fashioned type of guy, as I love my circa 1982 alarm clock, and am waiting for the return of dot matrix printers. The old days of Apple II C's literally warm my heart, and it was hard for me to get rid of a rather large vinyl collection ...
Pros: Size, screen, sound, most everything! Cons: Lack of video support beyond the Apple world.
Having downloaded 1,000’s of songs onto my computer’s iTunes and enjoying them for quite some time, I began burning them to CD’s to listen to in my car. I really began enjoying the portability of my music and started looking around for a portable music ...
Pros: Plays music, photos, and video in a tiny package. Cons: Expensive cable required if you want to show video on a TV.
Any company with a category-leading product, such as the iPod nano has to look ahead to the always coming product improvement hurdle. Time the jump wrong and another product takes the lead. Apple is keenly aware the track is lined with one hit wonder ...
Pros: Durable, Excellent graphics, Stylish and easy to use. Excellent battery life! Cons: 4GB is a bit too small for videos.

My wife bought me a 3rd gen silver Nano 4 GB for Christmas. Superficially, this thing is beautiful and cool looking, much better looking than the previous iPods. The Nano is a media player and will allow you to listen to music/podcasts, watch TV ...
Pros: Reliable and Effective Cons: Lack of sound quality compared to competitor brands.
The Ipod Nano is the latest version of this popular portable music player released by Apple Mac. It plays mp3s and a number of video formats. However given the hard-drive space you would have to replace the one movie you can store if you want to watch a ...
Pros: Has many accesories, sturdy, big capacity for an mp3 player, Cons: Not enough room for vidoes. Can't update the software if its formatted for Windows.
I got my apple ipod nano used. It had been taken care of all right, it was scratched up and such, but it played fine so I didn't care. I forgot it in my pocket one day, they are really small so they can be easily missed when you throw your ...
Pros: Slim size, high-quality screen. Great sound output. Cons: Squat-stature is a little awkward to hold. Small click-wheel.

Pros: Easy to navigate, lots of abilities Cons: hard to hold on to
At first, I wasn't sure if I should purchase an ipod or not, but when I had extra money from my birthday, I decided to try it out. I purchased the 4GB silver ipod nano and I love it. After you get itunes its easy to search, buy, sync, and listen to all ...
Pros: Just listening to the songs you want. Cons: Took some time to figure out how to work it.
I received the Apple IPod nano Third Gen Silver (4GB) as a Christmas gift from my husband this past year. It took me some time to figure out how to download the songs and then get them to play. Also figuring out the Itunes software and where songs were ...
Pros: Great sound quality. Easy to use. Cons: The battery life is not very long when the Ipod is regularly used
I finally bought the Ipod nano after talking myself out of the purchase several times in the past. As an avid music listener, I absolutely love it. I have my entire music library in my pocket at all times. It is user friendly and has great sound quality. ...
Pros: small, lightweight, tons of accessories available Cons: 4gb only in silver, must be charged through your computers usb
I got my Ipod for Christmas this year from my husband. All I can say is that I love it! This cute little device is extremely thin and lightweight. I'm still figuring out all of the features that are available on it. Some of the things that I like ...
Pros: Video Support, Durable, Easy To Use, Value, Cons: Small Scroll-Wheel, Cover Flow
Apple Inc. has recently decided to update their product line for the Christmas season. Along with updates to their computers, displays, and, of course, iPhone, they also did an all around splendid job updating their iPod lineup. While many things are ...
Pros: Sleek, versatile, works with all legacy iPod accessories, great for small hands, small fingers. Cons: Small, slippery and too easily scratchable for tweens, iTunes not friendly with multiple users.
My son had heard of iPods but never showed any interest until he won this 4G iPod at school. (Nice prize, huh?) Of course, it was the unit only and didn't come with anything he'd need to play it in the car or through speakers. Luckily -- so lucky for him ...
Pros: easy, small, easy access, portable, on the go! Cons: small
Apple iPod Nano Third Gen. Silver (4 GB, MA978LL/A) Digital Media Player has been a great thing to have. I use to own one for awhile till I gave it to a friend and bought myself a bigger I-pod because I had so much to store that the 4 GB became too ...

I have the nano 1st gen and love it. It's great for downhill skiing. Was able to find a remote control that goes in my mit. Keeps me in tunes for a full day of skiing. Awesome!! Thought I would up to the 3rd gen...ooo big mistake. Looks good and ...
Pros: It is very simple to use. Cons: It is hard to understand.
I would have to say that IPODS are now a young generation thing to have. If an adult were to have one, they would just be stuck on the stupid thing for hours. It's really simple to use but very complicated to first understand it. I would recommend ...
Pros: lightweight design, easy to navigate, holds many songs, movies, tv episodes Cons: have to pay for each individual song you want, the earphones aren't the best quality
I got this for my birthday and it is amazing how something so tiny can hold so much. It is perfect for me because I don't think I will ever be able to fill it up with all my songs. I love how you can watch your favorite episodes of most anything on tv with it. I don't use it for movies because I figure between my tv and laptop I don't need to watch movies on that small of screen. Might be good if you travel a lot and don't want to carry a heavy laptop or don't have one.
I don't like the fact that you have to pay for every song you want. I would rather pay a one time subscription fee and get all the songs I want. The only thing you really don't have to pay for is downloading your own music from a cd onto the iPod or downloading PodCasts.
Waste of Money and Poor Customer Service to Boot! by puddleracer ,Apr 02 '08
Pros: battery life Cons: reliability
customer service
price
My first Ipod nano lasted 6 months. The latest 3rd generation 4 gb lasted 1 month. Sent it back as it was dead and they sent it right back saying they couldn't duplicate the problem.
Called back as it was still dead. They then stated that they detected water damage and that I could pay (just about) full price for a new one.
I was so careful to ensure that it did not come into contact with any water. Had a case for it and may only have been exposed to a bit of perspiration.
I have a C2 Tech MP3 player from the Superstore which cost $19 for a 1GB. It has been going strong for ages in much worse environments.
My recommendation. Apple products have proven to be high cost and cannot withstand much in the way of outdoor environments. Keep them indoors!
I thought for the price that their customer service would at least stand behind their name!
Pros: Screen, Apple Quality. Cons: Back Scratches easily.
The best MP3 Player on the market. You are defiantly getting a great band for your buck. This is my first iPod, and Apple makes it mark. This is Great. I recommend it to everyone!
BeWare of System Requirements by tazfreak ,Jan 02 '08
Pros: new, small, with lots of capabilities Cons: Doesn't support older operating systems even though they aren't outdated!
Got this for Christmas, but haven't been able to use it. Does not work with Windows 2K. Itunes Requires XP or Vista. Download older version of iTunes(compatible with win2K), and it isn't supported by the iPod. Very disappointed with Apple and the product. If you have a new OS I am sure this will be a very good product though.
Apple will not stand up for their product . by icwhite ,Apr 11 '08
Pros: Small and holds pictures and lots of songs. Cons: Warranty is no good.
I got the ipod nano for Christmas and like it, small , holds pictures and lots of songs. You have to download the software off the internet and for dial up it takes a while. The itunes software seems to have problems and keeps locking up my computer. My ipod started shutting down and kept having to reset it, I should have taken it back to where I purchased it. It finally shut down and would not start up at all. Sent it back to apple for warranty - only had it for 5 months, and they said it had internal damage and warranty was rejected. A lot of money for 5 months of use. If it had not have quit I would have like it but it was a waste of my money. I would not recommend buying it the warranty is useless.
Pros: The earbuds fit perfectly regardless of ear size. Loads of capacity. Great screen Cons: The back scratches easily
I have had an ipod Shuffle before the nano and there is no comparison. The nano is great with its display screen, the ability to watch movies and such a HUGE capacity for songs and media. I also owned a sony mp3 player at one point and took it back after a week when it could barely hold 50 songs (supposed to hold over 300). Overall apple just out preforms anything and everything. Great product.
One of the best products to come around in decades by semimba ,May 25 '08
Pros: Works better than advertised. Great product with great sound Cons: None
I found this to be one of the best inventions in decades. I use mine not only for music, but for storing misc files. Steve Jobs and Company has done a great job at designing and marketing a great product. Keep up the good work.
Best item I bought in a long time by raven21901 ,Jul 21 '08
Pros: Sound is clear. Video is clear. Easy to upload your music. Small and compact. Cons: Should come with a carrying case to keep from getting scratched.
Two thumbs up. Great sound. Video is clear and crisp. Plenty of room for all your favorite songs. I carry this little beauty wherever I go. Easy to upload your songs. Price was reasonable. I would buy this for a gift for someone who is a music lover.
