Good DVD Player, but no remote control
by jatdk325 ,Dec 01 '07
Pros: Very good picture with brightness control Cons: No remote control, low battery life, poor control buttons.
This Audiovox DVD player has improved a lot from their previous models. The 10" screen size is obviously better, but more importantly the picture is sharp and a very good viewing angel. It plays all DVD+, DVD-, DVD+RW and DVD-RW discs, but no CD-Rs or VCDs. The bad things about this model is that it does not come with a remote control and the battery will only last about an hour and half, maybe less (manufacture claims 2 hours of battery life per charge). The control buttons for the menu, forward, backward, and brightness don't response very good. Although I have about a week, I don't how long this unit will last. There's room for more improvements, but then, it's an Audiovox.
