Pros: VALUE! Superb traction and cornering, quiet ride. Love em! Cons: Cons?
I too, like most leary consumers out there, read tons of reviews from different sources before spending money on anything pricier than a candybar. Needless to say, these tires passed with flying colors, and they proved true to me. I had originally ...

Pros: EXCELLENT value w/costco membership. Great performance in rain and nice cornering ability. Cons: Some tire noise.
I was at the point where my car (Saturn SL2) was at about 65,000 miles, and the original tires were showing their age. As I almost always do with any major purchase, a ton of research was involved. I went everywhere from online to a recent issue of ...

A different car
by janjanann ,Sep 12 '05
Pros: Handling Cons: A little noisy
I bought these tires based on research done on the internet. I looked at brand, price and customer reviews. A better price than Goodyear (and many others) and good performance reviews convinced me to try these. I put them on my 2003 Buick Century, replacing the Goodyear tires that came with it. Immediately, it seemed like I was driving a different car! Smoother ride and much improved handling. Yes, a little noisy on the highway, but now I don't notice it at all. Great traction in the rain... I used to hydro-plane with the Goodyear tires. I now have 8,000 miles on these tires and based on my experience so far, I like these tires very much.

Traction T/A T 215/65/16 Sporty
by moosebreath ,Aug 15 '05
Pros: Held the road very well in rain and wet roads. Cons: Droning sound above 55mph. Mini vibrations above 5O mph.
Mounted on 2001 Town & Country EX, replaced Michelin(64k miles). It has subtle mini vibrations, which increase above 50mph. These are directional tires which are mounted correctly.

Great set of tires
by zalfrin ,Aug 30 '06
Pros: Price, Traction Cons: Lateral traction less than expected
I've had these tires on my '97 Grand Prix for a month now, and I must say, they are a dramatic improvement over the stock Goodyear tires. It is very difficult to invoke wheel spin with the Traction T/A's, even in wet weather. The Goodyears were perfectly happy to spin until traction control kicked in. Handling isn't significantly different, perhaps a tad stiffer. The only fault I can find with these tires is lateral traction is a bit lower than I would expect. This is probably due to it being a directional tire. Not a huge gripe, as long as you drive safely it should never be a problem.
Bottom line: These tires can be found for a very reasonable price online, and their traction is superb. I would definitely buy them again, and recommend them to anyone in the market for new tires. I was able to purchase and install 4 new 16" tires for under $400.
