Our baby boy (Zander) will be 8 days old later today and I could not even imagine being without this monitor. It is amazingly sensitive, a piece of cake to use and worth every last penny! We've used it in the cradle in our bedroom, a bassinet and will put it in the crib once he transitions to it. It is very versatile! I do not worry at all when the monitor is on! Oh and the portable monitor/speaker part is VERY, VERY sensitive (be careful not to leave it on in another room if you want privacy! :) We got ours at Walmart-only available online.
