Pros: good close shave, trimmer works well, holds charge, can shave even if battery is dead Cons: A bit expensive, if you wash- use oil
During the course of a few years, men go through a few razors. I generally have always preferred Remington or Norelco for electric razors. A few months ago, however, I decided it was time to ditch the previous razor and try something new. And there ...
Introduction Trying to find the right kind of electric shaver that will do a great work is very tough because there are a lot of different brands on every store's shelf and to make things more complicated each brand like Braun, Norelco and ...
Pros: Inexpensive, nice quality shave. Wet/dry shaving. Quick charge. Long battery life. Cons: None.
Let me preface this review by saying that you'll never match the close shave of a straight razor. I've owned several different brands of electric razors over the years and some work better than others but none were as quick and effective as a straight ...
Pros: Smooth against the skin while shaving, inexpensive. Cons: Missed spots, had to go over spots repeatedly, not a close enough shave.
I bought this electric razor at a local retail store (for about $30) because it has good reviews around the net and in a consumer magazine. The price performance ratio seemed too good to be true, and unfortunately is was. Whats in the package? ...
Pros: Cheap easy to use
Cons: Not that good of a shave
The Braun 1775 is a cheap shaver. It is ok for the money that you pay for it but it still is not that effective. When I use it I miss spots all the time and miss single hairs all over the place. For me it is easer to use a normal razor. I got the ...
Pros: Cheep. Cons: Cheep quality, didn't shave, took 30 mins for crumby shave.
I got the Braun FreeControl electric shaver as a Christmas gift in 2007. I had mentioned to my wife that I would like to try an electric shaver again after having a late morning running to the office without shaving and having to return to get the job ...
Pros: Inexpensive, great battery life, works while plugged in, can get wet. Cons: It takes a long time to get certain spots. Noisy.
When I shave with a real blade, even a brand new "mach-3", I get ingrown hairs all over my neck. This razor was the least expensive I could find. It takes a lot of massaging and persistence to get some spots, especially on my neck, but I've never had ...
Pros: Charges Fast Cons: Poor performance other than sideburn trimming.
I read with interest the review entitled "You Get What You Pay For". I was going to share the exact same experience. So close was our experience... it is scary. This Braun, recommended by CR as a Best Buy is the worst shaver I have ever used. I'm angry at CR and angry that the Braun shaver and the Braun web site is almost useless. By the way, the manual says do not shave right after showering or washing face. Go listen to the recorded tips on their 800 number. These people are VERY confused and so is CR.org, in my opinion.
Best Electric shaver I have used by benedict0711 ,Dec 13 '07
Pros: cleaning, close shave, inexpensive Cons: made in china
Over 30 years I have tried to find a electric shaver I could live with. Every time I tried to switch from a blade shave to electric I just hated fighting to get a close shave. The BrAun 1775 is the only electric shaver I have used that gives me a great close shave. I bought this model for $19.99 at Dept. store. Didn't want to invest a lot of money if I didn't like it. Plan to buy upscale model next time.
