I have a 4 month old unit. Paper started to jam error code C. I call brother customer service,they are very helpful and courteous. They walk me through a series of diagnostic tests which pinpoints the problem. The unit again is only four months old with a one year warranty. They advise me it's the fusioner?. Definitely bad, but yet the display indicates it has 84% life remaining. $200.00 to repair. What warranty?

I purchased this printer for our office because I saw so many good reviews for it. It is by far the SLOWEST printer we've ever had. It takes a very long time to print from the time I hit "print" on my computer to the time it actually starts printing. This is a big inconvenience in a busy office. Also, the ink runs out incredibly fast, and it's expensive. It shuts down printing when it wants you to replace the cartridge and won't continue even with a faded print. There is now a message on the display telling us that the drum needs changing. I've never had a printer that I had to change the drum as well as the ink cartridges. I often get error messages when I try to send faxes saying I am out of memory. I will never buy another Brother printer.
