Pros: Portable, excellent quality, Bluetooth Cons: Not all the features or photo quality of big printers
Don't let it's size fool you, the Canon PIXMA iP90 delivers exceptionally crisp, bright, and sharp prints without the big footprint of some other printers. I purchased it originally exclusively for on-the-go printing during conferences and meetings. ...

Pros: Compact, portable, easy to use Cons: Jams up, only holds 20 pieces of paper, uses to much ink
The Canon iP90 is the second printer that I have purchased recently. The reason that I bought it is because when I go out of town on business and I am using my lap top in a hotel room, I hate when I cant print something out. So instead of lugging my ...

Canon PIXMA iP90 InkJet Printer
by alovitt ,Feb 12 '07
Pros: Compact quality and speed at a reasonable price. Cons: I wish it had more ink capacity.
This is the greatest little printer ever. It is compact and can be carried in my case along with my computer. I am never in a situation where I cannot print a document or a photograph. The color, the speed, the cost, and the quality are all excellent. It prints a picture so well you'd think I went to Kodak. Anyone who has seen it print has asked me where I got it and how much did it cost. They cannot believe the speed with which it prints. I love it.

Good printer but expensive
by sophiemarch ,Jan 04 '06
Pros: Small, very easy to use, ideal for traveling Cons: Expensive, little ink per cartridge
I have bought the printer 6 months ago and have been quite happy with it. It works well, is simple to set up and start, is without useless extras and displays, and print quality is good for documents and photos. Blue tooth capability and battery operation (both at extra costs) is an additional bonus to make the setup cable free.
If you are looking for a mobile unit that prints good photos as well as documents in letter format than this one is it. It won't get much smaller. The market for those types of printers is very limited, so you don't have a big choice anyway. However, cartridges do not hold much ink and are comparatively expensive. The printer itself is not exactly cheap either.

Great Portable Travel Printer
by odubs ,Oct 27 '05
Pros: Compact, light, easy to use, Battery pack w/ charger, Bluetooth, No Wires need here. Cons: Battery Cradle not worth the extra money.
I bought this in August. I also purchased the battery pack, and now I am totally wireless. This unit also has blue tooth wireless. Cost extra, but worth the money.
I take it on the road when I fly or drive on a trip. I print my E-tickets, go to meetings and nobody has a printer, when you need one. I have replaced the black, but I have not run out of color yet. It is very compact to pack your printer & laptop in the same brief bag. Even with the battery pack.
Bring your cords just so you can recharge it. But the cord is very light and small, not bulky at all, like others
Just get the Canon Portable Kit LK-51B comes with charger. Battery goes into the charging unit, and then connects to the back of the printer with screws. The cradle just gets in the way. All the cradle does is charges the printer on it backside, but you CAN NOT print anything.

No help from Canon USA
by vbtanaka ,Oct 25 '05
Pros: Good product reviews. Cons: No help from Canon USA
I bought the printer in the USA and brought it with me to Guatemala. Right out of the box, it did not work. I took it to Canella (Canon Latin America), the place where the folks at Canon USA told me to go for service, only to find that I would have to pay for the service - the warranty was not valid out of the States. So why did they send me there, which required me to take 2 bus rides totaling 12 hours and the cost of hotel lodging in Guatemala City??? And for a brand new printer - why should I have to pay for service regardless of where I am??? Does not seem right. I will avoid buying any products from Canon USA in the future.
