Cons: JUST DONT PURCHASE

From day 1 this car seat was hard to buckle.  We have to literally stand up and push as hard as we can to get it to buckle. When you get it buckled the part that latches into the buckle is so wide it digs into my sons legs. Its a wast of money you will be buying a new one within a month or two if you purchase it, so please save your money. They are not willing to help do anything to make the customer happy either.

We have three children in car seats. None of which we have converted to using a shoulder strap. We have never had any previously mentioned problems with pinching or difficulty installing the seat. As my youngest is out growing the infant carrier we will be sure to buy another Cosco Alpha Omega Elite.

My 18 month old son was in this seat when we were hit from behind by a car going 60 mph. My neck and back were injured and my wrist broken. My car was pretty badly smashed up. My son was completely injury free, not so much as a headache. I can not recommend this car seat enough. I had taken the time to install the seat correctly. Follow the instructions, it was really easy. I suggest going by your local Fire Department, they will check out your carseat for free. As recommended after an accident, I replaced the carseat. I went right out and bought another seat identical to the first. My highest rating on the Carseat and I speak from experience.

We have had this car seat for 3.5 yrs now since my son was born.
2 weeks ago I was in a terrible accident where a drunk driver ran a stop sign and rolled my truck 3 times having it land on the roof.
My son, in the center of the back seat strapped into this car seat emerged from the truck without ANY injuries! Not even a scratch!

Nothing is wrong with it from what we can tell. It's Latch system held fast and the buckles worked like a charm. This seat didn't budge.
I will replace this seat only due to the fact it was in an accident.
I will also replace it with an exact duplicate!

We looked at several different car seats and talked to a lot of people before we ended up purchasing this car seat. We love it and have had no problems with it at all. It was easy to install both rear and front facing and it's easy to transfer from car to car. It's also very affordable and I have no problem getting two in the back seat of my Grand Prix. I highly recommend this car seat. Just make sure you don't get the 'puzzle' style buckle as that is very hard to get a wiggly toddler buckled with unless you have practice!

I have been using this carseat now for almost a year, with very little problems. Very good product for the price. Installation was easy going into my car both rear and forward facing. When I went to the car-safety inspection, it was NOT recommended for to use the cushions on the shoulder straps. Speaking of straps, Installing the tether strap into this product was a mystery to me, because the manual had no instruction on this but I finally figured it out once I took the cushion part off the seat. On the base that came with my seat, the cup holder is in an awkward spot, and non usable for the child, it is possible that the makers have changed this since mine was made. Other than that, it is nice and easy to clean the product. Nice comfy ride for my daughter. ideal for long trips.
