Pros: Works well. Hair is finer and thinner when it grows back. Cons: Can cause ingrown hairs. It isn't painless.
I am not a vain person, but there are certain things about my appearance that bother me. One of the things that has bothered me the most is unwanted body hair, mainly on my arms. I once had someone who was supposed to be a friend call me a gorilla ...

so happy to have this product
by soy01 ,Sep 21 '07
Pros: removes the hair and not that painful Cons: don't have any. this is my first epilator so I have nothing to compare to.
I got this little epilator yesterday and was very pleasantly surprised at how little it hurt. Maybe if you have never waxed or tweezed before it would be a bit much, but to me it was really not that big a deal. I did both legs and some facial hair in less than 20 minutes. And the vote from my husband on how it worked...my legs felt way smoother to him than I ever got with shaving!

Mixed feelings
by fvinsc ,Sep 21 '08
Pros: Small, easy to hold, relatively inexpensive. Cons: Results don't last as long as expected.
Anyone who decides to use an epilator should understand that you're talking about a machine snatching the hair out, so there is going to be some pain and redness. I have a decent tolerance, so using it on my legs isn't a huge deal. I like that it's small and easy to hold. I didn't get the 5 weeks of hairless legs they say I can expect and you have to have patience. It takes a while and you have to make multiple passes to get some of the short hairs. It did, however, cut down my need to shave by quite a bit. All in all, I have mixed feelings, but I think it takes some time to get used to the process. This is probably a good little first-timer's epilator.
