Pros: Great idea...if it worked. Love the light show when it works.
Cons: Light show is intermittent. Not very sensitive to sounds.

This product is not worth the money. The idea is fantastic but the light show on my monitor works intermittently and the sound on the monitor is very light. Try buying Safety First. Best monitor...very sensitive to sounds.

Pros: Great for sleeping routines. Calming, relaxing and provides plenty of light.
Cons: Constantly changing the light bulbs, which are very hard to find.

I have had to return this product 3 times. I am changing the light bulb for the projector once a week. Finally it quits working all together. I would love this product if I hadn't had problems. My son associates this with sleeping and I have used it on vacations, it was wonderful.

Cons: SmartResponse does NOT work

My 7month old son loves it (and so does my 4 yo daughter). My son associates it with bed/naptime and looks for it. I've returned it once thinking it was a dud due to the SmartResponse not working, AND the receiver not working (hardly any sound and no lights). The new monitor receiver works well, but the SmartResponse still does not work, and that is feature that I really want/need to work (helps with those middle of the night wakings). I have it set to the most sensitive setting and it has turned on about 2 times when my son was screaming. It really would be ideal if the SmartResponse worked. Bumping up the time that the light show plays would be nice too. I'm VERY disappointed in Fisher-Price for featuring such a great idea with the SmartResponse, but it DOES NOT work! I'm going to Recommend "Yes" as to purchasing the monitor since it's most helpful feature to me is that my son loves the light show, it's very calming and soothing - there really aren't other monitors with a light show out there. It's unfortunate though that the SmartResponse does not work.

What I like about the monitor is it plays music. The aquarium picture for the ceiling, etc. only lasted about a month, hasn't worked since. The static is horrible for us. Its been so bad I've gotten headaches listening to the monitor! We also didn't get reception right outside the house. It has great features if they would work or work better! I would not recommend this product until they improve it!

Pros: Keeps baby happy and entertained while falling asleep.
Cons: Doesn't work half the time. And never turns on in response to her crying.

This monitor would be great if it worked. It will work one night and then not the next. Not sure what the problem is. My daughter loves it and gets very upset the times it doesn't work. It also has never turned on with her crying, which it is supposed to do, no matter how sensitive I have it set too.
