Pros: Great zoom, lots of programming available, eye-viewer. Cons: Can eat through batteries if using the screen a lot
I bought this camera in Ohio when I lost mine in the Columbus airport. I'm by no way a professional, but the pictures I've captured with this camera have fooled many a person with the quality that's come out. It's a big jump up from my previous ...

Pros: Tremendous zoom. Discharges batteries. Dual image stabilization. Large bright LCD screen. Solid feel. Cons: Lens feels shaky when extended. A/C power cord is an option.
This is a great camera. it does things no other camera I have ever owned can do. For example, the zoom capabilities are amazing. All in one lens you will get a 35mm equivalent of 27mm wide angle to 486mm telephoto. The users manual is all in English and ...

Pros: Good feel, photos and price. Great for photos of whales, seals, pelicans and people. Cons: Vignetting at 18x zoom impacts panorama images but use less zoom and all is well.
I used the camera on a cruise and took over 400 images on my 2 gigabyte SD card. I tested most of the available modes, including Beach, Sunset, Night, Flower, Landscape, Party and Portrait. I tested manual mode to take panorama photos, after first ...

Low Picture Quality
by dwildman ,Jan 26 '08
Pros: price, zoom Cons: poor image quality
I bought this camera hoping the positive reviews I saw were true. It ended up the negative reviews were the ones to trust. The picture quality of this camera is not good. I had the feeling the photo processor was just overworking the photos in indoor lighting conditions. The auto-zoom would appear clear in the LCD display, then I would snap the picture and end up with a blurry mess three out of four times. In the end, I had to agree with the November 5, 2007 reviewers comments and also returned mine to the store after using it for one week in favor of a Canon Canon PowerShot S5 IS Digital Camera which was recommended by the store owner and by many epinions reviewers.

poor image quality
by sorchaisme ,Nov 05 '07
Pros: Controls easy to navigate. Cons: Grainy pictures.
Was supposed to detect up to 10 faces-was lucky to be able to detect one. Pictures all very grainy, my old Kodak takes better picts. Poor software. Returned to the store after 2wks.
I did like the auction mode, and the camera controls were easy to navigate.
