Great GPS but minor problems
by betacopy ,Apr 17 '08
Pros: Big easy to read screen; good text to speech. Cons: Temporary bluetooth problems; radio transmitter is weak.
This is a great improvement from my last GPS. I won't even compare to it since that was an old gps. I love this GPS. So great to have traffic updates and bluetooth for my phone. Great for finding POIs, but not completely up to date even though I have the 2008 version. Plus it has option to automatically turn off, and it has a day/night setting.
Negatives are sometimes it gives bizarre nav directions. Traffic updates are vague, or not up to date, or have estimated times that are way off. Audio transmitter is not good, lots of interference. Probably because of a weak transmitter. They say you need 3 empty stations in a row. That is sometimes hard in a big city like Seattle.
Temporary problems with Bluetooth version 3.0 and 3.1. It has trouble connecting with a Blackberry phone. Hopefully, this will be fixed soon. Then maybe I will give a higher rating. Bluetooth worked great with version 2.8.
Technical Support: They are always fast in answering calls. Although I am not sure how knowledgeable the techs are with their products. Some problems of using the email support at their website.

Printer Jams
by americandad ,Apr 09 '07
Pros: Excellent Print Quality Cons: Simply doesn't want to feed paper.
Every time I attempt to print, I get a message saying it is out of paper. If I try to push it through, I get a paper jam. It is a real pain to use.
I hate it.
Prints very good quality.
I have contacted customer service with no success. (Indian customer support reps)

The C360 should not be a 5 Star Rating - Beware !
by hanh800 ,May 04 '07
Pros: Small and slim Cons: Technical issues after 3 months of use
I am not sure how the 360 get a 5 star rating. We bought it in December and in January we started to have technical issues. With the extended warranty we bought from from Frys in Fountain Valley, they sent it to Garmin for repair. Garmin cannot fix it so they sent a downgraded model C350 as a substitute which costs hundreds of USD less with much less functionality. When we notify Frys of this they said it's Garmin's fault and they send it back to Garmin. From the date we originally sent the unit in for repair up until now, it has been almost 4 months and we still do not have our GPS back. Beware of the ratings on this device as well as all Garmin other products. You can get the Magellan at Costco for about $300 and it works great!!!

Don't buy this printer
by tcbourg ,Dec 28 '06
Pros: None Cons: Paper Jams
Poor quality printing
Hardware is cheap back cover falls off all the time
This is the worst printer I've ever bought. I thought HP had a reputation for quality. From the minute I received this printer it's been nothing but a headache. Paper jams occur all the time and the "out of paper" message comes on even when there's ample paper in the printer. The printer itself is just cheaply made. I returned it after one month and all HP did was replace the printer with the exact same make/model despite my expressing great disappointment with the printer quality. Before replacing it they tried to sell me a more expensive HP. One year later and I'm still have problems. Now I'm trying to go through the Max Assurance warranty I purchased. This is proving to be another nightmare. Beware when buying warranties. They usually to deliver what is promised.

Great little GPS unit!S
by richarcm ,Oct 20 '06
Pros: Size, User Interface layout (easy to use), best brand name in GPS, bluetooth, mp3 Cons: No complaints yet
This being my first GPS unit its hard for me to say how it compares to other units out there. However I talked to many sales associates, played with many display units and read many reviews online and this seemed to be the best all around unit available right behind the Garmin Nuvi 660. My only question so far is the volume of the unit. However I plan on bypassing that problem by hooking it up directly to the aux in of my car stereo. I have had NO problems with the bluetooth, I have had NO problems with how smoothly it works and I have had NO problems with it locking up. The other user is either retarded, biased or just got a defective unit.

No More Back Street Driver
by camburke ,Aug 02 '08
Pros: navigation Cons: graphics
No more need for a nagging backstreet driver. Let the gps show you were to go. Garmin; one of the #1 gps manufacturers made another. Just dial in where you want to go and let this little baby show you the best way to get there. Even add in your home so you always know how to get back home. Just don't give this little thing a name while your girl or guy is around.

Excellent
by cmb7 ,May 06 '07
Pros: Good sound quality, comfortable, stylish, battery life Cons: Nothing so far
This headset has worked superb since day #1. I had read some reviews elsewhere that contained complaints of the blinking LED light, but honestly, I think it's a positive thing. The LED lets people within a short distance know that you aren't talking to them, or even worse--yourself. The headset pairs great with my Samsung SYNC (SGH-A707), and the headset's battery long outlasts that of the phone.

GARMIN 360 NUVI GPS
by musuk2bu ,May 20 '08
Pros: PROS: see all above Cons: CONS: the fact they are a hot theft item
PROS: I bought the Garmin 360 so I didn't get lost in out of town freeway systems. It has not only been accurate but an immense time saver. It has bluetooth technology so with most all states going to hand-free law with cell phones, this Garmin makes that transition very nice without having to have a Bluetooth headset and 2.4 gHz. stuck in your ear. I shocked yesterday when a text message came in and the Garmin read it to me. The driving directions are not only extremely helpful to the driver, but could be entertaining to the passenger as well. It pinpoints any and everything you need. In a any town, you can locate anything you want from an ATM to a hospital. Even in your own city, it tells you places you may have not known existed, eg. restaurants, entertainment, etc. The time saving feature makes it worth every penny. It also will tell you exactly what time you will arrive at your destination. There are a ton of features I probably haven't even discovered yet.

It's The Best
by albarro ,Jun 12 '08
Pros: It works. Cons: Couldn't listen to commands through my car FM radio.
It would be difficult for me to rave enough about the Garmin 660, which I selected because it was GPS Magazine's GPS of the year. Simply put: it works. That's saying a lot for an electronic device, inasmuch as almost all that I buy come replete with difficulties, complications, and defects of varying degrees. The Garmin 660 does exactly what it says it will do, faultlessly and easily.
I was prepared to struggle through the owner's manual because I have never used (or for that matter, seen) a GPS before. But, I started to fool around with the GPS and after a few moments of self-exploration, I was in my car with the Garmin and I was operating it well. I do plan to read the manual to see if there are some features I'm unaware of, but, frankly it's not necessary. I couldn't imagine traveling to any unknown place or address without having the Garmin with me. It's as important to me now as my cell phone.

Great buy
by intrinsic ,May 26 '07
Pros: Excellent sound quality, ease of use Cons: On/Off toggle switch can be difficult to engage
My first experience with a bluetooth was the plantronics Explorer 330. After replacing my first Explorer with a new one, the same poor call quality continued so I decided to try the Voyager 510. The difference between these two in terms of sound quality was remarkable. The 510 offers excellent sound quality on both ends which is most important to me. After all, if a headset does not deliver top quality sound delivery/reception, I'd opt to not use one. Though the Explorer may slightly edge the Voyager in comfort and design; the Voyager's excellent sound quality and reasonable price makes it a great buy.
Be sure to shop around out there as you can find a good deal on these headsets; prices vary widely.

Not as nice as I had hoped
by ecpool ,Aug 04 '07
Pros: nice screen, fm transmitter, battery powered Cons: lacks accuracy, only one intermediate point, can't select short or fast route on the fly
I just sold my Garmin 2720 just to get one of the latest Garmin. Unfortunately I kind of want my old Garmin back. It was more accurate and had features that I still want that the new one doesn't. Such as the ability to select faster or shorter route on the fly. The 660 you have to go into setup and change it rather than a quick selection (kind of a pain when driving). Also, you can't have more than one intermediate point in a route (the 660 just lets you have one!). I also like to know the next turn direction which the 2720 showed on the map screen(the 660 requires pushing of a button). Most of the POI are way off compared to the 2720. Bottom line, I think I will be returning this and find another 2720.

Easy to use, pocket size and pretty reliable
by yobtaf ,Aug 17 '06
Pros: compact. not bulky, bluetooth features Cons: voice quality is inferior to other GPS. not clear and loud.
I have an old Magellan NavPlus M and very reliable. The only reason why I am replacing is the size and so may things to do to set up. You can't set it up while moving.
The only thing I like with Garmin Nuvi 360 is the compact size, the Bluetooth features and Picture viewer.
