Pros: Smooth, Quiet Ride Cons: Terrible performance getting a grip on the road
Goodyear is one of the original American tire companies, and produce many other famous tires as well.(Dunlop, Kelly, Fulda) They are one of the best sellers, and come standard on many American vehicles.(Especially Chrysler/Dodge) The reason is that they ...

Pros: Very smooth, quiet ride. Cons: They're down to the tread wear indicators at 28K miles.
My '99 Lexus ES300 came with a set of these as standard equipment. One of the great attributes of the ES is the smooth, quiet ride and of course your tires are a big factor in these areas.

Had Great Luck with Mine
by vittseek ,Oct 01 '04
Pros: Quiet ride; excellent handling; excellent traction in many driving conditions Cons: Really had none; simply too expensive to replace them.
My 1999 Lumina Sedan came with these as original equipment. I have found them to be a quiet ride with very adequate handling. I live in an area where we experience the wide gammet of weather/driving conditions (wet, snow, ice) and these tires have performed well. Unlike the other reviewer here, I have nearly 67K miles on mine and the tread is still hanging in there - although I will replace them before winter. Am going with the Yokohama Avid Touring as replacements - largely based on their incredible value (much less $$ vs. these Goodyear Eagles).
