Uncomfortable for twins
by gverlee ,Jul 13 '08
Pros: Affordable Cons: Narrow frame, lack of midline seat support, less suitable for double occupancy.
The trailer is rated for up to two passengers, but unfortunately the seat has very little support in the middle, meaning the two infants will slump towards each other like they were sitting together in a hammock. This makes for an uncomfortable ride for them, and they are much less likely to tolerate longer rides than if they each had a bucket-style seat. Also, the "5-point" harness is actually a 3-point harness for each twin with single seatbelt spanning across both twins - which further squishes them into the middle of the trailer. Other bike trailers seem to have avoided this problem.
