Expensive.... But Worth It! by janetlong ,Nov 13 '07
Pros: not oily
really reduces wrinkles, unlike some creams which promise to, but don't Cons: Expensive
I never imagined myself to be the kind of person who would fork over $125 for a one ounce jar of lotion. Having said that, I managed to get my hands of a sample of La Mer, and after finishing the sample, I found myself purchasing the one ounce jar even at its outrageously exorbitant price. Why? Because this stuff actually works! And it works far better than other creams!
In the past, I've used dozens of expensive creams that can be purchased at places like Nordstroms, Macys, etc. I've also used drug-store creams, and all of them have worked just "average" for me. Most are too oily, others don't do much to remove fine lines, despite their big promises. La Mer, however, is not oily AT ALL. And after using it daily for a month, I really do notice an obvious reduction in the depth of forehead lines.
