Pros: Good looks. Good tread life. Decent handling. Great value. Cons: Average to below average performance on wet surfaces.
These were purchased as a tire and wheel combo package for a Toyota T100. My concern at the time was to purchase good looking wheels for my truck. Tires were almost an after thought. These were the cheapest they had, so I thought "good enough". I have...

Pros: Excellent traction, excellent treadwear, excellent price! Cons: Not a 1!!!
I run them on my dirt track full bodied stock car (1976 Nova) and they hook up and handle excellent! You cannot ask for a better tire for the $$ I would definitely recommend them without hesitation! Thanks DT!

A LOT of bang for the buck
by tom98915 ,May 14 '04
Pros: Excellent snow and ice traction. Very good wet pavement traction. Cons: none to be found - yet.
Replaced my General brand tires on my 97 Nissan SE pickup with these tires. Took a road trip in February from California to Illinois and performance in snow and on icy roads was very much above my expectations for the price, and my truck's gas mileage was the best I have seen yet. Traction in the rain was very good considering my pickup is normally prone to fishtailing and with these tires I did not experience this problem at all. Definitely a best buy in tires.

Great Bang for the Buck!
by bayouguy ,Feb 13 '05
Pros: Great Looking Tire, Smooth Ride, Great Price. Cons: None so far, after all, It's a Tire! It goes around and around.
Just put a set on my 95 Ford Ranger(225/70/15). At a 186,000 miles, this makes my 4th set of tires on my Ranger. Got a Great Deal on them, 4 tires, balanced, with Road Hazard for $286. I will have to see which wears out first, the "Road Huggers" or my Truck.

Off brand with Not-so-off performance
by customconcord ,Oct 28 '03
Pros: Good dry/wet traction; Great hydro resistance; good looking too. Cons: A touch noisy; harsh ride quality; little known brand support
These tires came on a 1984 AMC Eagle that I recently acquired. They see to be quite decent. They offer good dry and wet traction (I have not yet tried the car in snow yet) and I have had no problem with hydroplaning. The only things that have gone wrong with the tires is that one had to have a valve stem replaced. The only things I don't like is that they seem to be a little harsh riding and a little loud (although not intolerable. I will probably not buy these again simply because I like name brands and I also do not of any warranties or dealer support for this brand. But for an off brand tire, they have performed better than some name brands that I have had experiences with.
