Pros: Surprisingly good ride and acceleration, easy to navigate through tight city streets Cons: Too lightweight for driving in bad weather The Bottom Line: I'm really enjoying my new car, though I won't be taking it for long rides in snowstorms again any time soon.
I inherited my grandparents' 2002 Suzuki Aerio this summer when my daughter was born. With just 17,000 miles and a pristine interior, I was beside myself with excitement about finally owning my very own vehicle at 30 years old. This car is responsible ...

Pros: Price, Fuel economy, Standard amenities, Powertrain. Cons: Copy-cat exterior design, Plasticy interior, warranty, No 2 door option. The Bottom Line: A great price with loads of amenities, but it's the lack of interior quality, only average fuel economy, and warranty that kills my recommendation.
Finding a Suzuki Aerio in my area is like finding a needle in a haystack. On my journey car shopping I could find every new Cadillac and Lincoln on the market, but no Aerio or Corolla. I finally found a Corolla (see review), and later that week...

Pros: Roomy Inside, Surprisingly smooth ride, value priced, 141 hp Cons: Resale Value, Civic is similarly priced, Odd Looking The Bottom Line: An alternative to more mundane looking Hondas and Toyotas, the Aerio is quite capable. Plenty of power and an awesome sounding stereo are just two of its high points.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; life is all about expectations. People tend to be happy when expectations are met or exceeded and they are disappointed when expectations are not met. In automotive terms this is true as well, the odd thing is...

Pros: Excellent Value, Great Features, Practical, Fun Cons: Road noise, Handling The Bottom Line: The Aerio is a versatile, economical, fun and comfortable car that adds up to an excellent value.
I've now had my 2002 Aerio for 15,000 miles, and can bring to you a review with some experience behind it: The Pros: The Aerio is definitely inexpensive compared with other similar cars out there. Standard, the Aerio has Cruise Control, Air ...

Pros: Cheap, fun to drive, plenty of cargo space in the SX version Cons: Hard to find in the SX version, as it's always sold out The Bottom Line: Reliable, peppy, roomy, economic all-purpose vehicle at a very low purchase price = Great Value!
I bought my first Suzuki, the diminutive Swift (now discontinued) several years ago. At the time, the choice was mainly based on budget. I wanted something NEW, but I couldnt afford much. That little Suzuki really surprised me. It was ...

Pros: Roomy Interior, Shifter, Turning Radius, Ingress/Egress, Handling, Gas Mileage, Highly Modifiable Cons: Hard Plastic Doors. Some weak dealerships out there, some good ones too. The Bottom Line: The Aerio SX is a great little car for the money. It's roomy font and rear, has a great motor/shifter and handles well.
I think there are a lot of car buyers out there that are like me. We need a roomy vehicle to haul cargo with yet don't want to give up on getting a car that handles well, accelerates nicely and gets good gas mileage. In short we really DO want some...

Pros: fast acceleration, smooth and precise handling, quiet and smooth ride. Cons: no option for 4-wheel disc brakes The Bottom Line: Buy the Aerio only if you like a solid, well built, quiet, fast, quick handling, roomy, realiable car.
A couple weeks back, I went to my local Suzuki dealership and test drove the new 2002 Suzuki Aerio SX sedan and Aerio SX "fastback". When the salesman brought the sedan up to the front, I was excited to be trying a good looking, Japanese-made,...

Pros: Versatility, Styling, Price, Options Cons: Quality, Customer Service, VERY Cheap body panels & interior pieces. The Bottom Line: Great car! Horrible service- not worth the trouble with other equally good cars available with better service
This was my very first brand-new car and I was EXCITED about driving it. I have owned several cars in my short driving experience- but had actually cut out a picture of the Yellow SX when I first saw it in Car & Driver. On a whim I went to the Suzuki ...

Pros: Sporty looks, thoughtful design, great standard features, & safest in its class. Cons: Digital gauges - what were they thinking? Everything else is pretty nice. Bumper rated low. The Bottom Line: Reliability, awesome warranty, roomy, 141 hp, sporty looking, fun to drive, & almost every feature you can get in a car comes standard for one great price.
I bought my new 2002 Suzuki Aerio GS one week ago for $12,300 at a year-end close-out, and I'm thoroughly pleased with my purchase.
The car is fun to drive (141 horsepower - highest in it's class), looks pretty sporty, and the GS comes...

Pros: practical, roomy, smooth accel and quiet Cons: no HID and sunroof The Bottom Line: The best-valued vehicle in its class
I recently purchased an electrical yellow aerio sx, sport crossover. The color is inspired by Suzuki's motocross machines. I was impressed by its smooth acceleration, roomy interior as well as high-tech dash board. In fact, the US version, 2.0L engine is...

Pros: Style, quality, and value. Cons: Small dealer network. The Bottom Line: If you're looking for a stylish pocket-rocket with loads of great features on a budget, than the Aerio is for you!!!!
About a month ago, I decided to trade in my gas-guzzling Grand Marquis for the remarkably stylish and fuel-conserving Aerio. I truly wanted the GS wagon version, but the dealer was completely sold out of the 02' wagon models. So, I decided to...

Pros: STYLISH, ROOMY AND THE PRICE WAS NICE Cons: NEW LINE, NO HISTORY OF PERFORMANCE AND NO SUNROOF The Bottom Line: The price is good, it runs smooth and the roominess can't be beat.
I was in the situation where I had to buy a car because mine was "dying" and cost was a major factor for me. I had never heard of the AERIO until I test drove it. I'm not a speed demon but I loved it's response with just a touch of the pedal. Stopping is...

Pros: Quick, cute and... practical Cons: Low shrouding may be a problem in winter The Bottom Line: You'd have to blow a wad on a European roadster to have anywhere near this much fun. (And then you'd not be able to carry all that stuff!)
A bright yellow Aerio SX has just become my fourth Suzuki. Practicality, reliability and low prices (I'd rather spend my money on motorcycles!) has kept me coming back. But the Aerio SX adds something else to this equation: It is fun.
First...

Pros: Price,7-yr 100,000-mile warranty, safety record, roomy, Quiet ride, power, utility, fun to drive! Cons: Hard plastic door panels, needs bigger tires! The Bottom Line: Reviewers had some bad info and even so rate this car rated good. If they had the right info it would be tops!
I'm writing this to clear up something I've seen that has been incorrectly posted here as well as at other sites that have reviews of the Suzuki Aerio.
As you know most reviews of the Aerio have been very positive. The major gripe has been about...

Pros: Excellent Value, Performance, Fuel-Economy, Comfort, and Practicality. Cons: Thin-Body Construction. The Bottom Line: If you want an easy to maintain, affordable and fun to drive smart car - then buy an Aerio. It's only a matter of time before people catch on.
Absolutely no car can compare performance, comfort, and standard features for this price. This is a well built precise car. It drives nice, comes equipped with a decent CD player and sound system, power windows and a well designed comfortable interior....
