Pros: Crisp picture, clean looking platinum finish, easy to use on screen controls, decent remote Cons: Very slight glare on a two inch strip on the screen.
When the TV arrived I was pleasantly surprised over the quality of the platinum finish. Let's face facts, the interface is as important as anything, as I want my TV to look as good off, as on. Believe it or not, even after doing off/on research for 3 mo ...

Pros: Excellent picture even without the HD. Sound is wonderful. Cons: Screen is not perfectly flat.

Pros: Too many read the review lazy! Cons: One. The heaviest TV I have ever lifted..uhg!
Ok,
I spent two weeks of intense product comparisons. I was coming off of a Zenith big screen (1999 era)tv.
>>>ATTENTION:This tv became disable 5 times for the same defect during a 2 year period, Zenith (LG) has rotten customer support and really don't care. To bad Zenith use to be a good company, I will never buy another Zenith product in my life!>>>>
Any way back to the Panasonic 36" HD. The BEST picture bar none, even Sony or Toshiba which were close.
Tons of great features some that Sony doesn't have like the "key" ability to press the "aspect" button and have the high-def image fill the screen, a rare feature. Samsung has this feature but the picture quality was no where near the Panasonic, but it was less expensive.
BUY the Panasonic, after all, when the smoke settles down and all the cool features are not used, you will be watching what you wanted in the first place...the best picture available on any tv at any price~! it's all about the picture baby!
