Details: Natures fury rose up and struck Austin Peay and surrounding Clarksville, TN when a tornado ripped through campus in January 1999, severely damaging four buildings. Amazingly, classes were back in session a week later. It only makes sense that the students here would be resourceful and resilient: Entrepreneur magazine ranked Clarksville as the #1 small city in the South and the second hottest area in the country for starting a business.
