Details: The ocean-loving students at Mass Maritime Academy on Cape Cod study math and science and participate in a regimented, academy-style program intended to foster leadership and physical skills. They also sail to exotic foreign ports aboard MMAs 20,000 horsepower, 547-foot training ship. Upon graduation, students earn a Bachelor of Science degree, a Merchant Marine Officer's License, and an optional Naval Officer's Commission.
